Good to know
Outdoor fires are prohibited. Solo stays not accepted (two or more people). On observatory nights only event participants may stay.
Access
About 40 min by car from Takahagi IC (Joban Expressway), 1 h 20 from Hitachi-minami-Ota IC. By train: JR Suigun Line Hitachi-Ota Station then about 1 h by Ibaraki Kotsu bus.
