A park campground opened in 2022 inside Joso Sports Park in Moriya, Ibaraki, with spacious sites of about 100 sq m and a dog park next door. Good for camping with dogs and for beginners, with rentals and an adjacent hot spring complex (separate fee).

Good to know
All fires are banned when a forest-fire warning is issued. Extra vehicles cost 1,100 yen each. Check the rules before booking.
Access
About 6 km (10 min) from Yawara IC (Joban Expressway). Moriya Station (Tsukuba Express / Joso Line), then Moriya community bus 'Mokobus' to Ikoi-no-Sato.
