Satoyama outdoor base in the Ikuta hills of Matsukawa, southern Nagano: camping, BBQ, river play, countryside experiences, matsutake cuisine and hand-made soba. Cottages, dome tents and open camp sites, some pet-friendly; EV charging; FUTURE FOX brand gear on display and free to try. Seasonal: wild vegetables and cherry blossom, river and nagashi-somen, matsutake, winter game dishes.

Good to know
Fire stands required; hand-held fireworks only and none after 22:00. Showers 500 yen per person per night (24 h, bring toiletries). Rubbish collection 1,000 yen; cooking area closed in winter (frozen pipes). Docomo signal good, other carriers weak.
Access
Ikuta district of Matsukawa town, southern Nagano. One car per tent or unit; extra cars park beside the management building. Seiryuen onsen about 20 min by car; supermarket within 15 min.
