Yura Camp

A small handmade campground for only six groups in Yura, Wakayama, with private-feeling sites, a Yura Bay view site, starry skies and campfires. Hands-free 'komikomi' camping is available, and the manager is a nurse. Sea bathing, fishing, sightseeing, baths and shopping are all within 15 minutes by car.

Good to know
No running water or electricity at the sites (free drinking water until it runs out); simple flush toilet without washlet. Lights low after 22:00 (no rule for private hire). Campfires are banned during forest-fire warnings; launch fireworks prohibited.
Access
Sea, hot spring, shops and sightseeing are within about 15 minutes by car; a supermarket is about 5 minutes away.
