Tengu Onsen Asama Sanso Campground
天狗温泉 浅間山荘キャンプ場
Secluded hot-spring inn at the foot of Mt Asama in Komoro, Nagano, whose reddish-brown iron-rich onsen is open to day visitors; alongside the main building it has cottages, lodges and an auto campground with tent camping. Covered BBQ area with gear-free BBQ, campfire sets, star-gazing, soba-making and horse riding; convenient for climbing Mt Asama.

Arrive by 18:00 or call ahead; a service charge applies to check-in and meals after 20:00. The site also has the irori-style covered BBQ area usable in rain.
Access
About 25 min from Komoro IC (Joshin-etsu Expressway) via the Asama Sunline; about 25 min by car from Komoro Station (Shinano Railway), with pickup for certain plans if booked by the day before. Free parking opposite the main building.
