Campground

A beachfront auto-campground on the Tajima coast of the Sea of Japan in Toyooka, Hyogo, about 10 minutes by car from Kinosaki Onsen and inside the San'in Kaigan Geopark. Site types range from ocean-view and power sites to free and solo sites. Good for sea play, campfires at sunset and soaking in Kinosaki's public baths. A day BBQ is offered without booking.

Good to know

An environmental conservation fee of 1,000 yen per person (elementary school age and up) per night applies, except solo sites. Rain alone does not waive cancellation.

Access

About 10 minutes by car from Kinosaki Onsen and 20 minutes from Tajima Airport IC (San'in-Toyooka Expressway). By train, JR Kinosaki-Onsen Station, then Toyooka city bus to Minato Chugakko, 3 minutes on foot.
