Forest free-tent site at Maruzen Park Takei-no-shima Auto Campground (formerly Toi Water Park) on the coast of Toi, east of Hakodate. Tents are pitched among trees next to a numbered car park (no driving to the pitch); the site also has auto sites, cottages, a BBQ house and a year-round day-use onsen.

Cars cannot be parked at the tent; park in the space with your site number. No open-fire hearths: use your own grill or burner. No convenience stores nearby; small snack sales at the center house.

About 40 min by car from central Hakodate, 20 min from Hakodate Airport; 36 km from Hakodate IC. Hakodate Bus from JR Hakodate Station (1 h) to 'Fureai Yuyukan', 5 min walk.
