Good to know
Ground fires banned (wood chips laid): use a fire stand and sheet. No vehicle movement 22:00-06:00. Take garbage home (ashes accepted). Free shower and toilets open 24 hours.

7 minutes by car from Kanazu IC (Hokuriku Expressway) and from JR Awara-Onsen Station; local taxi service 500 yen.
